Week Ahead Market Report: December 29, 2014 Monday, December 29, 3:26 PM ET The Dow Jones Industrial Average, and NASDAQ Composite are lower in afternoon trading on Monday, while the S&P 500 is slightly higher. Some of the most actively traded stocks include Bank of America (BAC) up 0.9%, Apple (AAPL) higher by 0.1%, Rite Aid (RAD) up 1.15%, and Sirius XM Holdings (SIRI) relatively flat.
Good afternoon this is Sayoko Murase with the Week Ahead Market Report for December 29, 2014.
In overseas trading, Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average was lower, down 0.50%, and the Hang Seng was higher, up 1.82%. In Europe, the FTSE 100 was up 0.36% and the German DAX was higher by 0.05% today.
In economic news, Construction Spending is released on Friday.
Some of the companies releasing earnings this week include: Accretive Health (ACHI) on Tuesday, Shanda Games (GAME) on Wednesday, and Exponent (EXPO) on Friday.
