Week Ahead Market Report: March 3, 2014 Monday, March 3, 4:13 PM ET The US markets are sharply lower this Monday as investors keep an eye on the unfolding tensions in the Ukraine.
Good morning this is Kristin Bianco with the Week Ahead Market Report for March 3, 2014.
In overseas trading, Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average was lower by 1.27% and the Hang Seng was lower by 1.47%. In Europe on Monday, the FTSE 100 was also lower by 1.49% and the German DAX was sharply off by 3.44% today.
In economic news, ADP Employment Change data is released on Wednesday, Initial Claims on Thursday and Nonfarm Payrolls on Friday.
In earnings news this week, RadioShack Corp (RSH) reports on Tuesday, Boyd Gaming Corp (BYD) on Wednesday, Alamo Group (ALG) on Thursday and Valero Energy Partners (VLP) on Friday.
