Friday's ETF with Unusual Volume: XMPT Friday, September 13, 1:36 PM ET
The CEF Municipal Income ETF (XMPT) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 79,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 27,000. Shares of XMPT were down about 1.7% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Nuveen AMT-Free Quality Municipal Income (NEA), trading down about 1.5% with over 1.3 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Nuveen Quality Municipal Income Fund (NAD), off about 1% on volume of over 945,000 shares. Nuveen Select Tax Free Income Portfolio (NXP) is the component faring the best Friday, higher by about 0.1% on the day, while Invesco Municipal Income Opportunities Trust (OIA) is lagging other components of the CEF Municipal Income ETF, trading lower by about 3%.
