XLV, EGPT: Big ETF Outflows Monday, June 3, 10:47 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the The Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV), where 10,550,000 units were destroyed, or a 5.1% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLV, in morning trading today Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) is up about 0.7%, and Pfizer (PFE) is up by about 1.3%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Egypt Index ETF (EGPT), which lost 450,000 of its units, representing a 26.9% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of EGPT, in morning trading today Transglobe Energy Corporation (TGA) is up about 2%.
