And on Monday, Chief Executive Officer Paul B. Toms Jr. purchased $100,150 worth of Hooker Furniture, purchasing 5,000 shares at a cost of $20.03 each. Before this latest buy, Toms Jr. bought HOFT on 2 other occasions during the past year, for a total cost of $56,948 at an average of $28.47 per share. Hooker Furniture is trading down about 1% on the day Thursday.
