SPY, PSMG: Big ETF Outflows Tuesday, April 2, 10:48 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), where 7,200,000 units were destroyed, or a 0.8% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPY, in morning trading today Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) is off about 0.1%, and Apple (AAPL) is higher by about 0.8%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Invesco Growth Multi-Asset Allocation ETF (PSMG), which lost 100,000 of its units, representing a 25.0% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of PSMG, in morning trading today Invesco FTSE Rafi US 1000 ETF (PRF) is off about 0.1%, and Invesco Russell Top 200 Pure Growth ETF (PXLG) is relatively unchanged.
