ACWX, XRT: Big ETF Outflows Monday, January 28, 10:53 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares MSCI ACWI ex U.S. ETF (ACWX), where 11,800,000 units were destroyed, or a 11.4% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of ACWX, in morning trading today Alibaba Group Holding (BABA) is off about 1%, and Baidu (BIDU) is lower by about 1.1%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the SPDR S&P Retail ETF (XRT), which lost 2,650,000 of its units, representing a 31.4% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of XRT, in morning trading today Boot Barn Holdings (BOOT) is up about 1.1%, and Lithia Motors (LAD) is up by about 0.2%.
