As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy — they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Thursday, Catalent's Director, John J. Greisch, made a $488,930 buy of CTLT, purchasing 13,000 shares at a cost of $37.61 each. So far Greisch is in the green, up about 3.0% on their buy based on today's trading high of $38.72. Catalent is trading up about 0.8% on the day Tuesday.
And on Friday, Director John S. Eulich purchased $458,400 worth of Enterprise Financial Services, purchasing 10,000 shares at a cost of $45.84 a piece. Enterprise Financial Services is trading up about 0.9% on the day Tuesday.
