Monday 10/1 Insider Buying Report: DLTR, BBDC Monday, October 1, 10:31 AM ET
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy — they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Thursday, Dollar Tree (DLTR)'s Director, Lemuel E. Lewis, made a $100,128 buy of DLTR, purchasing 1,210 shares at a cost of $82.75 a piece. Investors have the opportunity to bag DLTR at a price even lower than Lewis did, with the stock trading as low as $81.69 at last check today which is 1.3% below Lewis's purchase price. Dollar Tree is trading up about 0.2% on the day Monday. Before this latest buy, Lewis made one other purchase in the past twelve months, buying $201,088 shares at a cost of $80.44 a piece.
And on Friday, Director Michael Freno bought $100,127 worth of Barings BDC (BBDC), buying 10,000 shares at a cost of $10.01 a piece. Barings BDC is trading up about 0.3% on the day Monday.
