SPLV, FDM: Big ETF Outflows Monday, August 27, 10:50 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Invesco S&P 500® Low Volatility ETF, where 15,900,000 units were destroyed, or a 9.7% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPLV, in morning trading today Duke Energy is down about 1.2%, and CMS Energy is lower by about 1.2%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the First Trust Dow Jones Select MicroCap Index Fund, which lost 1,350,000 of its units, representing a 32.9% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of FDM, in morning trading today Intelsat is down about 1.2%, and CVR Energy is up by about 0.5%.
