FXO, EFU: Big ETF Outflows Thursday, April 12, 10:50 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the First Trust Financials AlphaDEX Fund (FXO), where 8,450,000 units were destroyed, or a 18.5% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of FXO, in morning trading today Corecivic (CXW) is down about 0.2%, and Assured Guaranty (AGO) is higher by about 0.6%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares UltraShort MSCI EAFE (EFU), which lost 50,000 of its units, representing a 26.7% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
