SPY, EXI: Big ETF Inflows Friday, March 2, 10:54 AM ET
Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), which added 22,500,000 units, or a 2.3% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPY, in morning trading today Apple (AAPL) is down about 0.7%, and Microsoft (MSFT) is lower by about 1.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the iShares Global Industrials ETF (EXI), which added 1,100,000 units, for a 36.1% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of EXI, in morning trading today Boeing Company (BA) is down about 3.6%, and 3M Company (MMM) is lower by about 1.5%.
