Wednesday 2/21 Insider Buying Report: IPHI, TNAV Wednesday, February 21, 10:37 AM ET
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
At Inphi Corp (IPHI), a filing with the SEC revealed that on Friday, Director Sam Srinivasan bought 5,000 shares of IPHI, for a cost of $24.93 each, for a total investment of $124,650. Inphi Corp is trading up about 0.1% on the day Wednesday. This buy marks the first one filed by Srinivasan in the past year.
And at Telenav (TNAV), there was insider buying on Tuesday, by CEO H.P. Jin who bought 20,000 shares for a cost of $5.66 each, for a total investment of $113,177. This buy marks the first one filed by Jin in the past twelve months. Telenav is trading up about 2.2% on the day Wednesday.
