PFF, OEW: Big ETF Outflows Thursday, February 15, 10:48 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares U.S. Preferred Stock ETF (PFF), where 6,700,000 units were destroyed, or a 1.5% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of PFF, in morning trading today Allergan (AGN) is down about 0.1%, and HSBC Holdings (HSBC) is up by about 0.8%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Guggenheim S&P 100 Equal Weight ETF (OEW), which lost 50,000 of its units, representing a 33.3% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of OEW, in morning trading today Target Corporation (TGT) is up about 0.7%, and Boeing Company (BA) is higher by about 2.4%.
