Tuesday 12/12 Insider Buying Report: TWOU, PYPL Tuesday, December 12, 10:30 AM ET
Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned cash to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Thursday, 2U (TWOU)'s Director, Paul A. Maeder, made a $4.17M purchase of TWOU, buying 67,830 shares at a cost of $61.45 each. Maeder was up about 3.8% on the buy at the high point of today's trading session, with TWOU trading as high as $63.79 at last check today. 2U is trading up about 2.2% on the day Tuesday.
And on Friday, Director Rodney C. Adkins bought $499,777 worth of PayPal Holdings (PYPL), buying 6,750 shares at a cost of $74.04 a piece. PayPal Holdings is trading up about 0.8% on the day Tuesday.
