Ecolab declared an 11% increase in the company's quarterly cash dividend to $0.41 per common share, to be paid January 16, 2018, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 19, 2017. This increase results in a new indicated annual cash dividend of $1.64 per share in 2018 and represents Ecolab's 26th consecutive annual dividend rate increase.

Edison International (EIX) declared a quarterly common stock dividend of $0.605 per share, payable on January 31, 2018, to shareholders of record on December 29, 2017. This action increases the annual dividend by $0.25 per share for the fourth year in a row. The 2018 annual dividend rate will be $2.42 per share, an increase of 11.5 percent from the current annual dividend rate of $2.17 per share.

WEC Energy Group (WEC) announced that it is planning to raise the quarterly dividend on the company's common stock to 55.25 cents per share in the first quarter of 2018. Eastman Chemical Company (EMN) has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.56 per share on the company's common stock, a 10 percent increase from $0.51 per share. The dividend is payable Jan. 5, 2018, to stockholders of record as of Dec. 18, 2017.
