PFF, SMDD: Big ETF Outflows Wednesday, November 15, 10:50 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares U.S. Preferred Stock ETF (PFF), where 2,100,000 units were destroyed, or a 0.4% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of PFF, in morning trading today Wells Fargo & Company (WFC) is off about 0.5%, and Allergan (AGN) is lower by about 0.1%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares UltraPro Short MidCap400 (SMDD), which lost 50,000 of its units, representing a 18.6% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
