Thursday 10/26 Insider Buying Report: BCBP, TBK Thursday, October 26, 10:31 AM ET
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Wednesday, BCB Bancorp (BCBP)'s Director, Gary S. Stetz, made a $25,525 purchase of BCBP, buying 1,750 shares at a cost of $14.59 a piece. BCB Bancorp is trading trading flat on the day Thursday. Before this latest buy, Stetz bought BCBP at 3 other times during the past year, for a total cost of $135,760 at an average of $12.37 per share.
And on Monday, Director Michael P. Rafferty bought $15,820 worth of Triumph Bancorp (TBK), buying 500 shares at a cost of $31.64 a piece. Before this latest buy, Rafferty made one other purchase in the past year, buying $32,975 shares at a cost of $21.98 a piece. Triumph Bancorp is trading up about 1.6% on the day Thursday. Rafferty was up about 2.6% on the purchase at the high point of today's trading session, with TBK trading as high as $32.45 in trading on Thursday.
