SPY, SMH: Big ETF Inflows Tuesday, October 24, 10:51 AM ET
Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), which added 19,800,000 units, or a 2.0% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPY, in morning trading today Apple (AAPL) is up about 0.7%, and Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) is lower by about 0.1%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the Semiconductor ETF (SMH), which added 3,050,000 units, for a 36.0% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of SMH, in morning trading today Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) is down about 0.5%, and Intel Corporation (INTC) is up by about 0.1%.
