Thursday 9/28 Insider Buying Report: OMP, TIF Thursday, September 28, 10:34 AM ET
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Monday, Oasis Midstream Partners LP (OMP)'s President, Michael H. Lou, made a $425,000 purchase of OMP, buying 25,000 shares at a cost of $17.00 each. Oasis Midstream Partners LP is trading up about 0.3% on the day Thursday.
And at Tiffany (TIF), there was insider buying on Monday, by Director Robert S. Singer who bought 1,000 shares at a cost of $88.13 each, for a total investment of $88,129. This purchase marks the first one filed by Singer in the past year. Tiffany is trading up about 0.3% on the day Thursday. So far Singer is in the green, up about 3.1% on their purchase based on today's trading high of $90.83.
