Friday's ETF with Unusual Volume: VSS Friday, September 22, 12:18 PM ET
The Vanguard FTSE All-World ex-US Small-Cap ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 500,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 135,000. Shares of VSS were up about 0.1% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Advanced Micro Devices, trading off about 1.5% with over 29.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Nokia, down about 0.3% on volume of over 8.8 million shares. Pretium Resources is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 5.3% on the day, while Blackberry is lagging other components of the Vanguard FTSE All-World ex-US Small-Cap ETF, trading lower by about 2.6%.
