KRE, KRU: Big ETF Outflows

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF, where 10,600,415 units were destroyed, or a 15.0% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of KRE, in morning trading today Fifth Third Bancorp is down about 1.4%, and BB&T is lower by about 1%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares Ultra S&P Regional Banking, which lost 25,000 of its units, representing a 16.7% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
