Thursday 7/27 Insider Buying Report: CABO, KALA Thursday, July 27, 10:31 AM ET
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
At Cable One (CABO), a filing with the SEC revealed that on Monday, Donald Graham bought 24,561 shares of CABO, at a cost of $742.52 each, for a total investment of $18.24M. Cable One is trading up about 0.3% on the day Thursday. This purchase marks the first one filed by Graham in the past twelve months.
And at Kala Pharmaceuticals (KALA), there was insider buying on Tuesday, by Director Gregory Grunberg who bought 215,000 shares for a cost of $15.00 each, for a trade totaling $3.23M. This buy marks the first one filed by Grunberg in the past year. Kala Pharmaceuticals is trading up about 1% on the day Thursday. Grunberg was up about 27.9% on the purchase at the high point of today's trading session, with KALA trading as high as $19.19 at last check today.
