As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Friday, Gaming & Leisure Properties' , Barry F. Schwartz, made a $364,400 purchase of GLPI, buying 10,000 shares at a cost of $36.44 each. Schwartz was up about 2.4% on the purchase at the high point of today's trading session, with GLPI trading as high as $37.30 at last check today. Gaming & Leisure Properties, is trading up about 0.2% on the day Tuesday. This buy marks the first one filed by Schwartz in the past twelve months.
And at Sito Mobile, there was insider buying on Thursday, by Director Itzhak Fisher who bought 100,000 shares for a cost of $3.47 each, for a trade totaling $346,884. Sito Mobile is trading off about 1.1% on the day Tuesday. So far Fisher is in the green, up about 3.8% on their buy based on today's trading high of $3.60.
