Friday 6/30 Insider Buying Report: UCFC, TDY Friday, June 30, 10:36 AM ET
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
At United Community Financial (UCFC), a filing with the SEC revealed that on Wednesday, Director Marty E. Adams purchased 404,000 shares of UCFC, for a cost of $8.00 each, for a total investment of $3.23M. So far Adams is in the green, up about 5.0% on their buy based on today's trading high of $8.40. United Community Financial is trading up about 2.2% on the day Friday. This buy marks the first one filed by Adams in the past twelve months.
And at Teledyne Technologies (TDY), there was insider buying on Thursday, by Vice President Thomas H. Reslewic who bought 5,000 shares for a cost of $124.50 each, for a total investment of $622,500. This buy marks the first one filed by Reslewic in the past year. Teledyne Technologies is trading up about 1.7% on the day Friday. So far Reslewic is in the green, up about 2.1% on their buy based on today's trading high of $127.09.
