Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned dollars to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Monday, Delta Air Lines' Director, Francis S. Blake, made a $249,949 purchase of DAL, buying 5,665 shares at a cost of $44.12 a piece. So far Blake is in the green, up about 2.6% on their purchase based on today's trading high of $45.28. Delta Air Lines is trading up about 1.9% on the day Wednesday.
And on Tuesday, Scott Haufe bought $62,500 worth of Medovex, buying 50,000 shares at a cost of $1.25 each. Before this latest buy, Haufe made one other purchase in the past year, buying $323,289 shares at a cost of $1.29 a piece. Medovex is trading up about 6.3% on the day Wednesday. So far Haufe is in the green, up about 8.9% on their purchase based on today's trading high of $1.36.
