SPHD, IDHD: Big ETF Outflows Thursday, February 9, 10:54 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the PowerShares S&P 500 High Dividend Low Volatility Portfolio (SPHD), where 15,600,000 units were destroyed, or a 17.4% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPHD, in morning trading today FirstEnergy Corporation (FE) is trading flat, and Entergy Corporation (ETR) is lower by about 0.2%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the PowerShares S&P International Developed High Dividend Low Volatility Portfolio (IDHD), which lost 50,000 of its units, representing a 33.3% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of IDHD, in morning trading today Affiliated Managers Group (MGR) is down about 0.4%, and Gramercy Property Trust (GPT) is higher by about 0.5%.
