JNUG, MCEF: Big ETF Outflows Wednesday, February 8, 10:47 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Daily Junior Gold Miners Index Bull 3x Shares (JNUG), where 5,200,000 units were destroyed, or a 4.8% decrease week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the First Trust Municipal CEF Income Opportunity ETF (MCEF), which lost 150,000 of its units, representing a 27.3% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of MCEF, in morning trading today Blackrock Municipal 2030 Target (BTT) is up about 0.4%, and MNP is relatively unchanged.
