DIA, DUG: Big ETF Outflows Thursday, February 16, 10:50 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the DIA: SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF (DIA), where 9,500,000 units were destroyed, or a 10.9% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of DIA, in morning trading today Goldman Sachs Group (GS) is off about 0.3%, and 3M (MMM) is higher by about 0.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares UltraShort Oil & Gas (DUG), which lost 250,000 of its units, representing a 24.6% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
