XLF, FYT: Big ETF Inflows Friday, January 6, 10:46 AM ET
Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF), which added 19,000,000 units, or a 2.0% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLF, in morning trading today JP Morgan Chase & Company (JPM) is trading flat, and Berkshire Hathaway Class B (BRK.B) is lower by about 0.2%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the First Trust Small Cap Value AlphaDEX Fund (FYT), which added 900,000 units, for a 38.3% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of FYT, in morning trading today CVR Energy (CVI) is off about 0.2%, and Metaldyne Performance Group (MPG) is relatively unchanged.
