KRE, SJB: Big ETF Outflows Monday, December 12, 10:47 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF (KRE), where 2,650,000 units were destroyed, or a 4.1% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of KRE, in morning trading today Keycorp (KEY) is off about 0.9%, and Regions Financial (RF) is lower by about 0.6%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares Short High Yield (SJB), which lost 1,600,000 of its units, representing a 21.5% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
