Tuesday 10/25 Insider Buying Report: ADX, PEO Tuesday, October 25, 10:46 AM ET
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
At Adams Diversified Equity Fund (ADX), a filing with the SEC revealed that on Thursday, E.V.P. James P. Haynie purchased 13,500 shares of ADX, for a cost of $12.99 each, for a total investment of $175,360. Adams Diversified Equity Fund is trading up about 0.2% on the day Tuesday. This buy marks the first one filed by Haynie in the past year.
And at Adams Natural Resources Fund (PEO), there was insider buying on Thursday, by President James P. Haynie who bought 2,700 shares at a cost of $19.64 each, for a trade totaling $53,039. Adams Natural Resources Fund is trading up about 0.7% on the day Tuesday. So far Haynie is in the green, up about 1.0% on their buy based on today's trading high of $19.85.
