Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: XMPT Tuesday, July 5, 1:21 PM ET
The CEF Municipal Income ETF (XMPT) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 57,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 26,000. Shares of XMPT were up about 0.4% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Nuveen Enhanced AMT-Free Municipal Credit Opportunities Fund (NVG), trading down about 0.2% with over 246,000 shares changing hands so far this session, and Nuveen Enhanced Municipal Credit Opportunities Fund (NZF), off about 0.1% on volume of over 239,000 shares. Nuveen Enhanced Municipal Value Fund (NEV) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 0.8% on the day, while Eaton Vance National Municipal Opportunities Trust (EOT) is lagging other components of the CEF Municipal Income ETF, trading lower by about 1.2%.
