EWJ, PXLV: Big ETF Outflows

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares MSCI Japan ETF (EWJ), where 55,800,000 units were destroyed, or a 4.5% decrease week over week.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the PowerShares Russell Top 200 Pure Value Portfolio (PXLV), which lost 550,000 of its units, representing a 20.4% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of PXLV, in morning trading today Citigroup (C) is down about 0.2%, and PNC Financial Services Group (PNC) is lower by about 0.4%.
