VWO, FAN: Big ETF Inflows Thursday, June 16, 11:00 AM ET
Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (VWO), which added 13,602,021 units, or a 1.3% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VWO, in morning trading today Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR.A) is off about 3.1%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the First Trust ISE Global Wind Energy Index Fund (FAN), which added 1,350,000 units, for a 34.6% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of FAN, in morning trading today Nextera Energy (NEE) is up about 0.2%, and Duke Energy (DUK) is up by about 0.6%.
