VUG, IPU: Big ETF Inflows Wednesday, June 15, 10:46 AM ET
Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Vanguard Growth ETF (VUG), which added 5,150,000 units, or a 2.7% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VUG, in morning trading today Apple (AAPL) is up about 0.5%, and Facebook (FB) is lower by about 0.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the SPDR S&P International Utilities Sector ETF (IPU), which added 650,000 units, for a 34.2% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of IPU, in morning trading today Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEP) is down about 1.7%, and Fortis (FTS.CA) is higher by about 0.7%.
