SPY, VYMI: Big ETF Inflows Wednesday, June 1, 10:48 AM ET
Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), which added 11,400,000 units, or a 1.3% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPY, in morning trading today Apple (AAPL) is off about 0.7%, and Microsoft (MSFT) is lower by about 0.4%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the Vanguard International High Dividend Yield ETF (VYMI), which added 200,000 units, for a 33.3% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of VYMI, in morning trading today Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais (CIG) is up about 1.3%.
