Wednesday 4/27 Insider Buying Report: RESN, ANGI Wednesday, April 27, 10:33 AM ET
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Monday, Resonant (RESN)'s Director, John E. Major, made a $99,998 buy of RESN, purchasing 33,500 shares at a cost of $2.98 each. Major was up about 48.7% on the purchase at the high point of today's trading session, with RESN trading as high as $4.44 at last check today. Resonant is trading up about 26.8% on the day Wednesday.
And also on Monday, Director Michael S. Maurer purchased $99,290 worth of Angie's List (ANGI), purchasing 12,000 shares at a cost of $8.27 each. Before this latest buy, Maurer bought ANGI on 2 other occasions during the past year, for a total cost of $196,932 at an average of $4.58 per share. Angie's List is trading up about 1.9% on the day Wednesday. So far Maurer is in the green, up about 3.5% on their purchase based on today's trading high of $8.56.
