HEZU, IAI: Big ETF Outflows Thursday, February 18, 10:55 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares Currency Hedged MSCI Eurozone ETF (HEZU), where 4,200,000 units were destroyed, or a 3.8% decrease week over week.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the iShares U.S. Broker-Dealers & Securities Exchanges ETF (IAI), which lost 1,100,000 of its units, representing a 22.7% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of IAI, in morning trading today Goldman Sachs Group (GS) is off about 0.6%, and CME Group (CME) is lower by about 1.2%.
