EZU, RALS: Big ETF Outflows Wednesday, February 17, 10:50 AM ET
Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares MSCI Eurozone ETF (EZU), where 6,000,000 units were destroyed, or a 1.4% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of EZU, in morning trading today NXP Semiconductors (NXPI) is up about 2.9%, and Aercap Holdings (AER) is higher by about 5.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares RAFI Long/Short (RALS), which lost 325,000 of its units, representing a 27.7% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of RALS, in morning trading today AT&T (T) is up about 0.1%, and General Electric (GE) is up by about 2.4%.
