Monday 11/30 Insider Buying Report: WAIR, UVE Monday, November 30, 12:55 PM ET
Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned dollars to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
At Wesco Aircraft Holdings (WAIR), a filing with the SEC revealed that on Wednesday, Director Thomas Bancroft purchased 233,365 shares of WAIR, for a cost of $12.71 each, for a total investment of $2.97M. So far Bancroft is in the green, up about 5.3% on their buy based on today's trading high of $13.39. Wesco Aircraft Holdings is trading up about 2.9% on the day Monday. This buy marks the first one filed by Bancroft in the past year.
And also on Wednesday, Stephen Donaghy bought $400,012 worth of Universal Insurance Holdings (UVE), buying 19,705 shares at a cost of $20.30 each. Universal Insurance Holdings is trading off about 0.5% on the day Monday.
