Hormel Foods Corporation (HRL) announced a 16 percent increase to the annual dividend to shareholders, marking the 50th consecutive annual dividend increase. The annual dividend on the common stock of the corporation was raised to $1.16 per share from $1.00 per share. The Board of Directors authorized the first quarterly dividend of twenty-nine cents a share to be paid on Feb. 16, 2016, to stockholders of record at the close of business on Jan. 19, 2016.

The Valspar Corporation declared a quarterly dividend of $0.33 per share on the company's common stock. The dividend is payable on December 16, 2015, to shareholders of record on December 7, 2015. The payment represents a 10% increase and marks the 38th consecutive year the Corporation has increased the dividends.

The Laclede Group increased the quarterly common stock dividend by 6.5 percent to $0.49 per share, up from $0.46 per share, raising the annualized rate to $1.96 per share. The dividend is payable January 5, 2016, to shareholders of record on December 11, 2015.

Chico's FAS (CHS) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.0775 per share of its common stock, a 3.3% increase over the dividend rate from December 2014. The dividend is payable on December 21, 2015 to Chico's FAS shareholders of record at the close of business on December 7, 2015.
