Wednesday 10/7 Insider Buying Report: DM, KMF Wednesday, October 7, 10:31 AM ET
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Monday, Dominion Midstream Partners LP (DM)'s Director, John W. Snow, made a $494,811 buy of DM, purchasing 17,500 shares at a cost of $28.27 each. Dominion Midstream Partners LP is trading up about 0.8% on the day Wednesday. Before this latest buy, Snow made one other purchase in the past year, buying $1.05M shares at a cost of $21.00 a piece.
And on Friday, CFO & Treasurer Terry A. Hart bought $157,120 worth of Kayne Anderson Midstream/Energy Fund (KMF), buying 8,000 shares at a cost of $19.64 each. This purchase marks the first one filed by Hart in the past twelve months. Kayne Anderson Midstream/Energy Fund is trading up about 1.1% on the day Wednesday. So far Hart is in the green, up about 19.9% on their buy based on today's trading high of $23.55.
