Monday 7/6 Insider Buying Report: NEON, ARO Monday, July 6, 2:11 PM ET
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Wednesday, Neonode (NEON)'s Director Gosta, made a $60,200 buy of NEON, purchasing 20,000 shares at a cost of $3.01 each. Gosta was up about 4.7% on the buy at the high point of today's trading session, with NEON trading as high as $3.15 at last check today. Neonode is trading up about 0.7% on the day Monday. Before this latest buy, Gosta bought NEON on 2 other occasions during the past year, for a total cost of $230,860 at an average of $2.89 per share.
And also on Wednesday, Director Evelyn S. Dilsaver bought $34,600 worth of Aeropostale (ARO), buying 20,000 shares at a cost of $1.73 each. This purchase marks the first one filed by Dilsaver in the past year. Aeropostale is trading up about 5.7% on the day Monday.
