Wednesday 6/10 Insider Buying Report: LSTR, ERIE Wednesday, June 10, 2:35 PM ET
Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned dollars to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
At Landstar System (LSTR), a filing with the SEC revealed that on Monday, Director Anthony J. Orlando bought 4,000 shares of LSTR, at a cost of $66.76 each, for a total investment of $267,050. Landstar System is trading up about 1.8% on the day Wednesday.
And on Tuesday, CIO Robert C. Ingram III bought $199,750 worth of Erie Indemnity (ERIE), buying 2,500 shares at a cost of $79.90 a piece. Erie Indemnity is trading up about 1.4% on the day Wednesday.
