VWO, PTF: Big ETF Inflows Friday, May 8, 10:51 AM ET
Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (VWO), which added 6,010,572 units, or a 0.5% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VWO, in morning trading today Mobile Telesystems (MBT) is up about 0.8%, and Ecopetrol (EC) is lower by about 2.3%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the PowerShares DWA Technology Momentum Portfolio (PTF), which added 600,000 units, for a 37.5% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of PTF, in morning trading today Apple (AAPL) is up about 1.1%, and Amphenol (APH) is up by about 1.4%.
