Tuesday 5/26 Insider Buying Report: CZR, SE Tuesday, May 26, 10:34 AM ET
Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned dollars to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Thursday, Caesars Entertainment (CZR)'s Chief Exec Officer Designate, Mark P. Frissora, made a $1.02M buy of CZR, purchasing 101,900 shares at a cost of $10.04 a piece. Caesars Entertainment is trading trading flat on the day Tuesday.
And also on Thursday, Director Miranda C. Hubbs purchased $361,000 worth of Spectra Energy (SE), purchasing 10,000 shares at a cost of $36.10 a piece. This purchase marks the first one filed by Hubbs in the past twelve months. Spectra Energy is trading down about 1.2% on the day Tuesday. Bargain hunters have the opportunity to pick up SE even cheaper than Hubbs did, with shares trading as low as $35.65 at last check today -- that's 1.2% under Hubbs's purchase price.
