Week Ahead Market Report: March 23, 2015 Monday, March 23, 3:44 PM ET The Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 are higher in afternoon trading on Monday, while the NASDAQ Composite is slightly lower. Some of the most actively traded stocks include Apple (AAPL) trading up 1%, Bank of America (BAC) down 0.50%, and Pfizer (PFE) up 2.9%.
In overseas trading, Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average was higher, up 0.99%, and the Hang Seng was up 0.49%. In Europe, the FTSE 100 was higher, up 1.08% and the German DAX was down by 1.19% today.
In economic news, CPI and New Home Sales are released tomorrow, and Initial Claims on Thursday.
Some of the companies releasing earnings this week include: McCormick & Company (MKC) on Tuesday, Red Hat (RHT) on Wednesday, Accenture (ACN) on Thursday, and Carnival Corp (CCL) on Friday.
