Week Ahead Market Report: March 2, 2015 Monday, March 2, 3:03 PM ET
The Dow Jones Industrial Average, NASDAQ Composite, and S&P 500 are higher in afternoon trading on Monday. Some of the most actively traded stocks include Apple (AAPL) up 0.19%, Bank of America (BAC) up 1.3%, Aruba Networks (ARUN) down 1.3%, and American Realty Capital Properties (ARCP) up 1.2%.
In overseas trading, Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average was higher, up 0.15%, and the Hang Seng was up 0.26%. In Europe, the FTSE 100 was lower, down 0.09% and the German DAX was up by 0.08% today.
In economic news, Auto Sales is released tomorrow, Initial Claims on Thursday, and Nonfarm Payrolls and Unemployment Rate on Friday.
Some of the companies releasing earnings this week include: Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) on Tuesday, E. W. Scripps (SSP) on Wednesday, Joy Global (JOY) on Thursday, and Big Lots (BIG) on Friday.
