Monday 1/26 Insider Buying Report: URI, RDI Monday, January 26, 10:35 AM ET
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Friday, United Rentals (URI)'s Director, Filippo Passerini, made a $217,700 purchase of URI, buying 2,500 shares at a cost of $87.08 each. So far Passerini is in the green, up about 5.1% on their purchase based on today's trading high of $91.54. United Rentals is trading up about 2.9% on the day Monday.
And at Reading International (RDI), there was insider buying on Wednesday, by Director Douglas James McEachern who purchased 6,000 shares for a cost of $12.01 each, for a trade totaling $72,075. This purchase marks the first one filed by McEachern in the past twelve months. Reading International is trading up about 0.1% on the day Monday. McEachern was up about 2.1% on the buy at the high point of today's trading session, with RDI trading as high as $12.26 at last check today.
